The Build Nigeria Youth Education Initiative (Build Nigeria Initiative / BNI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing creative talent in Nigeria — talent that goes on to provide innovative, problem-solving solutions that strengthen the Nigerian economy through digital skills.
Build Nigeria Initiative is primarily focused on building female tech talent, but to create balance, we focus on 80% girl-child tech education and 20% boy-child tech education across Nigeria. We provide our learners with laptops, resources, mentorship, access to internet-enabled hubs, jobs, and real opportunities.
To create world-class tech talent by encouraging the technological education of young Nigerians, especially the girl-child, and training individuals to be innovative and employment-ready in a market where technology is advancing by the day. We’re building a stronger network of tech-savvy individuals who can work in any tech firm globally, using the skills they’ve acquired to build real solutions.
A Nigeria where every young person, of every background, can learn, build, and thrive in the digital economy especially the female gender. Our long-term vision is to build globally competitive talent, the majority of them young women aged 15–25, equipped to work across every corner of the tech sector bringing skills, income, and foreign exchange earnings back into Nigeria’s economy.
Every learner who joins Build Nigeria Initiative becomes part of a growing community built on access, mentorship, and real opportunity.
Through structured cohorts in Data Analysis, AI Automation, Cybersecurity, and more, our learners graduate with real, globally competitive skills not just a certificate.
Every program includes job-readiness workshops, CV and LinkedIn sprints, and mock interviews to prepare learners for real hiring conversations.
From internship matching to hackathons with real cash prizes, our learners get direct access to opportunities most training programs never provide.
Graduates don't just find jobs many go on to build their own tech solutions and startups, becoming mentors for the next cohort behind them.
